What if, in heaven you can have a casual conversation and modest laughter with all the people that you hate? It's just a brief moment of extraterrestrial consciousness in which you and the people you scorn and the ones that scorn you get to understand each other and just talk about it? It would last less than 2 hours and then you get a brief couple minutes to say goodbye to the people that you love. After that, it's complete nothingness.

I would also add that you get your faculties back if you had some sort of degeneration before death. All the aliments and bereavements are lifted for the duration. You acknowledge, but you can no longer feel the anger, dissonance and pain that you ascribe to other people.
