>you actually have more freedom as a child than an adult
What did society mean by this?
GOD DAMN IT MY MOMMA WORNED ME FOR THIS SHIT AND I DIDN'T LISTEN REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>you earn decent money, could travel anywhere, buy a hell lot of things, get more toys than you could ever have dreamed of as a child
>too bad you realized along the way that everything is for naught and there's nothing in this world to explore that will bring back your childlike enthusiasm

>go outside and play with your friends
>mommy and daddy have to pay the bills, maintain and clean the house, cook, etc.
>bonus: repair broken or half-broken electronics, do labor to improve the house both externally and internally, etc.
Present time
>now you have a house and you have to do all of the above
>welcome to the real world
>good luck

You can choose to be free though. You just need to cast off the shackles that owning material things places on you. Vagabonds are essentially perma manchildren.

Comfort vs Achievement
Do you want to feel successful? Then you have to pretty much sell all your time away doing the things that will get you there?
Do you want to feel comfy? Then you have to settle for less in your life.
The best way to live I have learned, is to bust your ass working for the first ten years after college and live with your parents if you can. Save that money and then live as a NEET afterwards. Only really works though if you make a Lot of money and pay off your student debt pretty quickly
Freedom is responsibility. When you're a kid you're a subject to your parents, so in reality have zero freedom.
