I do that quite a bit. I want to create a video game where men and women are equal, including maximum hugeness and equal opportunities to be cute.

Whenever I write something bad happening to someone I switch the genders to make sure it feels appropriate. After all, I don't want to be one of those people who uses misandry in my stories.
