There are like 10 workouts that help build the hips/ass and squatting is one of them. It doesn't add anything to chest definition, only the gluteus maximus/legs. If you're not doing leg/calf intensive workouts along with squats then you won't get that manly leg shape.

200 squats with no resistance is basically cardio, I cant see how you'd get any gains from that. I think ,If anything, you'd loose muscle mass.
