I don't really mind if doctors are cold and objective regarding treatment of bodies. They're there to fix a problem. It matter that they're reasonably sensitive in handling sensitive issues, bedside manner and all that, but really I'd rather they brought a critical eye to my problems rather than being precious about it. You need skill, not compassion for the most part. Especially where surgeons are concerned, for example.
