It's hard and takes every ounce of willpower you can muster up some days. I used to love drinking after work and getting trashed a couple times a week. One day I realized it was going to destroy me and I haven't been drunk since Christmas of 2015. reddit.com/r/stopdrinking is a pretty good subreddit for this although it's obviously filled with a bunch of normies it can be helpful in reading the stories of others who relapse and why it's such a bad idea
