my only real "hobby" is messing with/upgrading this RC car i have. The one i have is this 1/10 scale truck that can go 60mph with my new motor.
I want to get an RC car that can go 80 and drift but obviously this shit costs money.

I've been writing a comic with my friend for a few months now. I write the final scripts and draw the characters and he paints the backgrounds.
It's good to be creative again after being in a slump for a few years.

yeah, i picked it up after i stumbled along some videos on youtube of some guy jumping his rc truck on sand dunes. Ever since i've been hooked. It's interesting to be able to make/switch all the individual moving parts without having to crawl under a car in your garage. Idk how it/what it would get me an apprenticeship for though.

Yes, it's electric. You can get gas ones but they're a pain in the ass i heard. With the 60mph motor the battery lasts 12-20 minutes and with the 25mph motor it lasts 20-30 mins. Usually about 40 mins to recharge.

As long as you're not completely broke i recommend the hobby if you don't have anything else to do. The base 2wd ready to run truck i first bought is a Traxxas Slash 2WD. There's many other trucks but this one is ready to run and only $200 to see if you're interested. Obviously i've done a shit ton of changes to the truck so it's barley recognizable now.

Vidya. Have a $15k-ish (retail value) retro collection, and was spending $3,000 - $4,000 a year on new releases for the last half a decade or so. Had to put that on hold though. I've bought maybe four or five games in the last 12 months.

Writing/world-building. I like to make fictional worlds, characters, and more specifically monsters.
