you asked for a realistic answer so i'll give whatever advice i can. that is unfortunate that most of them have SOs already bc that'd be very convenient given that you have similar interests. otherwise my advice is to start by having fellow guy friends. because it's easier for a group of guys to meet a group of girls than individual people. if that isn't your thing, then i'd suggest joining clubs or going to stupid events. from there, just make small talk about whatever. the weather or the situation or anything really. the hardest part is starting the conversation
