My family would constantly tell me I smelled as a child/teenager, and it got so bad that I would spend ages in the shower scrubbing my skin raw and trying not to cry because I didn't want to smell anymore. If I smelled even slightly of body odour at school, I would run to the bathrooms, wash myself and spray myself with deodourant while panicking. Apparently I don't smell anymore.
