>Mfw I got offered a part-time entry-level marketing position paying minimum wage (11.40$)

Would have to go door-to-door during the dead of winter.

Yay or nay?
>>
McDonalds pays minimum wage and you get to stay inside.

this is 1 job I'd never want to do

Nigger minimum wage where I'm from is $7.25
>>

pick 1 and only 1
>>

You also get to deal with hungry fucks all day and everything is fast paced and horrible.

The job sounds okay unless you are completely uncapable of talking to random people. Since we are on r9k I can expect you at the very least have some trouble talking to people but you have to consider that most entry level jobs require you need to talk to people.

This job also seems like there would be a lot of time walking from house to house or driving so that doesn't sound too bad. Any time you are getting paid to do nothing hard is good.
>>
Sounds like a misery for minimal wage. You will probably lose the last ounce of self respect doing that.

Would rather flip burgers senpai...

It's 11.40 in Ontario, Canada

I really need a job tho... what if nothing better comes along? Should I opt for Retail or a McJob instead?
>>
the 7-Eleven right next to my house is hiring a wagecuck to work 10pm-6am and the poo-in-loo working there told me I'd probably start immediately if I applied

wat do?
>>
>>34398651
I say try it, nothing is stopping you from quitting if you hate it.
>>
>>34398572
Should I ask my recruiter to provide with rewards/incentives based on performance?

Maybe increase my base salary as well? to 12$/hr
>>
>>34398546

I did it for a couple months except I was asking people to sponsor niggers in me 3rd world country. You could get paid ridiculous amounts per week-- if you did the impossible. Dude it sucks. Fucking normies are so weird. Stuff happened that I still think about and feel stupid for but it helps you sharpen your social skills.
>>
>>34398651

Hey I live there too.
>>
>>34398705
I'm new to wageslavery.

What if I quit in the middle of the month? Would I still be paid for the 15 days I worked?

Get them dollar bills, yo. Don't worry about whether the job is crap or not. You can always quit later.

That or you can sit on /r9k/ and not have any money
>>
>>34398713
I have the option for a commission based pay but I want something stable.

Which one do you reckon would be more beneficial in the long run?

You should but you have to deal with the awkwardness of waiting for the end of the pay period to pick your check up.

Best results for quitting is to quit right after a pay period so you can get your check and be done.

I'm on disability because some stuff happened. But I've done everything from what you're talking about, to telemarketing, to retail, to consulting. If you think being alone might help but you also want to develop social skills, maybe retail would be better. You can always find time to work alone, yet people will find you at least 10 times a day to ask you where something is.

no anon, you shouldn't unless you're desperate. If you get paid regardless of performance though then sure why not?

It's nothing special man. I have nerve damage and I'm mentally ill. Anxiety/panic attacks/depression/sometimes hallucinate audibly or visually. On so many painkillers it's impossible to not wonder how I haven't overdosed. Jeez.

>>34399274
Sure but if I were you I wouldn't trade my /comfy/ nights just so that I wouldn't have to say a few words here and there to misbegotten schmucks.

Yea the position originally offered "commission based salary" in true wagecuck fashion.

But I straight up told the recruiter bitch today that I want a fixed wage.
>>
>>34399349
What sort of hallucinations do you receive?

And is there any sort of trigger for them or do they occur randomly?
>>
>>34399495

Scary ones. I have night terrors all the time but it's like they incorporate into nightmares and are just so SUCC. I'm diagnosed with PTSD but I usually only hallucinate at night time. I take four 2mg lorazepam tablets a day for panic attacks though and I can't sleep properly without (and me times can't even with) that medication.

And also I know I sound crazy but there's a ghost in my place that for real tried attacking me last night. I was awake. It wasn't a dream. If it was a hallucination I have no idea why I would hallucinate that.

Anyway I'm hijacking your thread I'm sorry dude. Thanks for the questions though I don't talk to people that much.
>>
>>34398476

I tried that for Charter Cable once. Shitty fucking job. You need to be an asshole to people and badger them to sign up if you want to meet your quotas and not get fired.

don't do it.

>>34398570
It still happens in America.

Intriguing I must admit. It seems as though you were as fine and dandy as just about any bloke. But something happened along the way which crippled you from the inside. Pray tell if you have any idea about what the origin of your ailment may be?

Also, in case you are certain that an actual supernatural being inhabits your residence and isn't a part of your hallucinations then maybe you ought to try and take a picture of it?

>>
>>34399941
There was never any mention about fulfilling a quota... fuck my life.
>>
>>34400041

It's here. And it fuck with me when I sleep. They aren't night terrors. Those are different. I'm just ignoring it for now. If it tries to fuck with me again I'm going to burn my house down with sage or something (that's what superstitious people do right?)

Also yeah. Pretty much what you said. A lot has happened it's hard to pinpoint the exact moment of breakage.
>>
>>34400179
Take a picture of the vile bastard and post it so we can know for sure whether it's really there.
>>
It's a fucking scam you retard.

Do you have any experience with it?
