she's probably just really fucking tired and worn out. if you have any sense of dignity or any care for your mother you'd get a part time job at least to help out with the bills.
my mom was also a single mother and works like an animal and i can tell sometimes when she is feeling tired out and i do whatever i can to support even when it's as simple as skipping hanging out with my friends to stay in and watch some tv with her.
