I don't identify with most of the issues related to self-confidence or anxiety since I got over those recently, and the whole masochism about loving sad/broken thing is pointless, in my opinion. I get you guys are having fun but the Myers-Briggs test is kinda pseudoscientific verging on astrology-tier with a near coin-toss accuracy depending on the subject's mood and life situation. It's also very generalizing and, just like astrology, works to affirm your beliefs instead of trying to disprove them. Sure if it's "accurate" but what does it really mean?

An old teacher of mine said the DiSC profile is more accurate but imo people are usually too fluid and complicated to be narrowed down like this.

Is it so important to fit into a group? When I tried one of these tests it said I was similar to Oscar Wilde. Personally, that kind of vapid flattery cannot be trusted.

look up the five factor model. this is really just a proxy for the FFM, which is definitely scientific. one may question the validity of the whole field of psychology; it is after all a "social science", not a hard science, but other than that the FFM is pretty solid, and the 16 personalities site really just tests for the five factors.

Well, it also says that INFP is very reserved, so your friends might not know you as well as they think they do. It's basically a stereotype that INFPs start crying at the drop of a hat, but we definitely feel a lot.

Warning that some of the questions are trying to find out a certain thing in a very specific way so it might be best to look through the types and see what fits best/better than what you got after the test.

Eg theoretical physics question wants to find out if you think theoretically and abstractly but it's fucking physics and not everyone is into that.

Their MBTI test is similar in that it has a retarded "Do you find yourself moved by TV soap operas" question to find Fe but most people hate soap operas even diehard ENFJs.
