Engineering usually gets the normalfags, since it's more practical to apply.

Science and math, as unfortunate as the stereotype is, tends to get more reclusives who teeter away to their work, but provide information and research for engineers and everyone else to apply somehow. Then again, you generally need to have some kind of obsession with your field to do that. At least for hard sciences.
