I am also a failed normie. I had a salary once. I got fired while I was looking around at houses with a local realtor. I almost made it. It's been 4 years since then, and I haven't gotten back on my feet yet. A few temp jobs, nothing stable. I'm on the job hunt again.
Keep trying. It's a very common story. People lose everything all the time. They usually get back on their feet eventually.
