My group of friends from high school has been basically falling apart the last 3 years.

They all have jobs, have gone to different places, and I haven't really done anything thanks to not having much money and being too depressed to even leave the house most days. I am not compatible with them anymore.

Of course, a few of them still call me and wanna hang out, but unless they just hang out with me for 45 minutes or something I feel like I'm just sitting there, not saying anything, or doing anything. They say they like hanging out with me, but I honestly can't picture it.

The only option is to slowly fade away from their lives. Nothing will change much with me being gone, so it's not that big a deal.

Yea I had some friends who became sports stars in highschool while I just sat on the computer for 12 hours a day. They made fun of me so I said fuck em. I knew them for over 10 years but it doesnt matter if their just gonna belittle me all the time.

People will have friends for a reason, as weird as that sounds, you obviously wouldn't want someone detrimental to be around, you want useful people, emotional or directly. Friendship isn't a sacred ideal.
