The "Bee Yourself Meme" actually makes sense theoretically but in practice will lead to massive failure for robots
The logic goes:
>If you dont alter you're persona and doubleguess what you say you will attract people who truly like you
Decide to give it a try:
>Be clumsy, air-headed, social retard
>"Dont be ashamed of yourself Anon" meme
>Act like myself
>Never lie about my shorcomings
>People quickly realise how much of a failure i am
>Never make jokes because it might hurt people's feelings
>Become an unfunny failure
>People say your really nice but people begin to avoid you as because they realize you are a failure
>Still waiting on that "real friends will come" part
yeah
if you're great at faking charisma, charm, intelligence etc so be it
as long as it's an act you can keep up or maintain for short periods of non-intrusive socialising who cares
vince staples made a beautiful statement about 'fake' and 'real' people on his over/under (meaning what topics he believes are overrated and underrated) for p4k
watch it through and you'll like it

>people who truly like you
The people who truly like you are most likely similar to you in many things. Those people are probably on /r9k/ right now with no irl friends
"Just be yourself" is something women say because they want natural men. They don't like an improved man. If you tell them you were a skinnyfat hunched virgin in your early 20s but now several years later you're fit and look good - that's disgusting. That's why when betas are being themselves they're showing they're not worth it and women should go look for an alpha.

The most important thing is fixing your diet. Try to cut the soda (actually everything that's not water, milk or tea) and you'll see improvement very soon.

I'm going to apply for a job at a fortune500 company first thing tomorrow

Be urself works but here's the thing.
If you're a misfit, you will be subject to blunt trauma until you fit in the round hole.
Pain is inevitable.
In fact, the thinner your skin, the less you are able to resist change. This is why women are all clones of eachother, and men are a spectrum encompassing Chad and estranged weirdos.
Think about it.

The ones that aren't "this is a shape/siloutte with the name of something that causes me trouble on it, this thing punches me!" make me chuckle, too bad they're getting rarer and rarer.

I've already been soda free for 4 weeks now. I just still gotta get into the habit of reading the nutritional contents of something before i shove it into my mouth.
Problem with any of the "just" advices is that they don't address the real problem.
You smoke? Just stop smoking. It's that easy. Just don't smoke, nobody is forcing you to.
You're always late? Just be on time beginning right now. Most people do it, so it must not be that hard.
People with bad habits have a routine, like a subtle pattern leading them to repeat the same errors again and again. It's like an addiction to failure.
As an example, I'm sure the first thing most Robots do when they wake up is go on the computer. Then the various things they're used to do will ask for their attentions. Doomed from the start of the day.
On paper, they could just not go on that computer. So simple and so obvious a solution.
You need to break the pattern, by gradually creating new paths renforced by positive feedbacks. Then the brain will opt for them because they feel better than the old choices.
As an example, what >>34341324 said. It's easy to begin like that and see results, then boom you now realize that success is an option, not "just" an advice of "just" doing it.

this man speaks the truth. I only hope you faggots would actually take this advice because it's solid.
