Shit was super awkward, atleast she shared some info as well. And another experience was when I confessed my love for my crush over text. Never do that.

OP, this is why I do not and have not tried. It is difficult enough to initiate a conversation or interaction. But the thought of maintaining a relationship with someone like that seems impossible.

I really don't know what the fuck I would have said in your situation. That is such an awkward thing to ask someone who has no sexual experience. You were put in a position where, at the very least, you needed to say something to save face and not end up looking like a sperg or creep. You failed. There was no winning in that conversation.

My life after that was shitty and depressing. It still is. However, I'm not even that old and this was only a few years ago. Recently some of those friends have been a bit nicer to me and I am still in contact with them. But that whole thing really did affect other things. Now I'm genuinley afraid of liking someone. I've always been super nervous and shy but that only made it worse.
