What's it worth? Well let's see how they fix midgets.
Height adjustment requires compound fractures to both leg bones, with a large expandable brace that is literally pinned on each side of the fracture. The brace then expands the gap of the fracture by 2-3 mm, and the leg is set to heal for 2-3 months. Rinse and repeat until desired height is reached. Then get ready for at least a year of physical therapy, as whatever leg muscles you had will have been torn to shreds and/or atrophied in the process. Did I mention the pain is excruciating? Not to mention the permanent scars from the external pins.
I'm not sure what the going rate per inch is, but given you are talking 6-7 procedures per inch, I'd imagine six figures for 3.
