>mandatory public speaking class for uni
>first speech is on Monday
I haven't done one of these in fucking 3 years, and unlike my small classes in highschool I don't know a single one of these people. I don't think I'll be able to walk into the room, I'll chicken out and do heavy breathing in my car. Is there medication for this? What the fuck am I supposed to do to chill the fuck out? If I even think about it too long I start to sweat and get shaky

>I don't know a single one of these people
but thats what makes it easy, you'll never see them again after this. why care about what they think.
Just make sure to remember that no one gives a fuck about your speech, and no one is listening. Thinking about that helps me with public speaking
The boys and girls in the clique, they all throw names at the stick
You're never gonna fit in much kid
But if your troubled and hurt
What you got under your shirt will make them pay for the things that they did
>you know what to do anon
don't act nervous it makes everyone uncomfortable
Propranolol is what people take for stage fright.

This. Present your speech to the teacher, focus on getting a good grade, look past the students and at the wall behind them. I had a class like this last term and got a B on most speeches doing this despite having the virgin monotone voice.

>he didn't go to therapy and get diagnosed with social anxiety disorder
>not going to your uni disability service centre at the start of each semester
>all the professors have to adhere to my accommodations
>no group work and public speaking
>literally just had to turn papers or projects instead of all speaking assignments
Feels good.
In my senior year now , and it's been a breeze

OP, I had to do one of these things and it was the most awkward thing of my life.
Just drink some alcohol and snort some dexedrine before showing up works every time
>University is different they say
>No one will make fun of you they say
>No one will bully you they say
Why is this fucking allowed.
I always brought some vodka and iced tea in a bottle to any class I had to give a speech in that day. Helped a ton, try it out anon!
