I was watching this yesterday... why so many feels ;_; help me robots

I often find romance anime overbearing, the emotional outbursts become ridiculous. There's a few more subtle ones like Maison Ikkoku, altho in the case of that it gets tiresome to see one awkward misunderstanding after another for some 100 eps. Todadora is one of those that try way too hard, I managed to finish it but it was pretty shitty in my book.
Get a Taiga daki and some drugs and you'll be all settled though. If you want you can probably makeup yourself some Dragons eyes easily,or an hero and be with her forever

Taiga daki is an option desu, I saw one IRL and secretly i want one
>>34311047
Would your parents have anything to say about it?
>>34311127
>Implying i care what my parents think
I live in a single dorm so there is that, and they never visit so that will not be a problem. Also, I will me moving out of state in 1 year to do a PhD, so it doesn't matter anyway
>>34311184
Good going, then go for it mane. Would love to make myself a little "shrine" actually, but still with parents and they'd be a bit freaked. Maybe if I ever get my own place ne.
What will you study?

I love maison ikokku, can you recommend me some good anime to feel. I enjoyed Welcome To the nhk, so many feels..
>>34310844

Minorin a best.

I am still between mechanical engineering or applied math (CFD to be precise). Studying is one of the things i get enjoyment out of it.
Thanks my dude, 3D woman are too messed up to even care
>>34311446
I would recommend watamote, for some reasons i got the feels because i could somewhat relate to her
>>34311663
I already watched it, anon, more please.
I wasn't expecting much from Toradora! but it kind of tricks you into caring about the characters and by the end I was fully supportive of their retarded plan.
It's a better anime than Watamote.
>>34311446
There are probably plenty of others here more qualified to answer that since I'm more into a different sort of anime. But, the only anime that got me really fucking bad was Galaxy Express 999, it's long winded and many episodes are a tad repetitive, but it's worth it IMO, I was a sobbing mess after finishing it.
Other than that I guess there's the ever so popular 5 cm per sec and garden of words, windaria, assorted Ghibli stuff.
>>34311604
Really wish I had a knack for that, would love to make aerodynamic simulations for stuff. I'm sure one can land a tidy salary with it too.
>>34311446
Kanon 2006 is more feel-inducing than any other media I've seen, anime or otherwise. Makoto's story arc specifically.
>>34311704
>5 cm per sec
Normalfag garbage. Only valid reason to watch it is the background art.
>>34311704
Are you studying mechanical engineering? Its quite interesting, but as for now the parts i have gotten the most interest are fluids and heat transfer/thermodynamics. My dude, start with CCM+, they even give free licenses with the full program if you are a student. I mean, even the tutorials are embedded in the program
>>34311446
If it doesn't have to be Japanese: The Iron Giant, Watership Down, The Plague Dogs, When the Wind Blows.
>>34311533
Toradora is moe, but it's hardly like the rest of the generic mobeblob shit
Feelsy af, actually teared at some scenes
>>34311446
Came to think of a few more, hit or miss probably. Rainbow, Sky Crawlers, Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. Haven't seen it but what the one this guy >>34311760
mentioned is pretty popular too.
>>34311784
Won't wrong you there, I found it pretty dull too, but worthwhile for the fancy visuals.
>>34311796
Ah, not actively studying anything unfortunately, only finished HS and far past college age now. Thanks for the tip though, might have a look and see if the interest catches on.

His and Her Circumstances will always be the best romance anime. If you liked Eva, then it's worth watching for Anno's directing alone
