I don't know about ur USA land Anon but here in my euro country the rock/metal subcultre basically vanished from the earth within the last 10 years. There are a few "real" metalheads left but they're very rare, meet within their small circles in the only rock bar in my midsize town and they seem withdrawn and maladjusted with their long hair and dad rock bandshirts, just like a relict from bygone times.
Rock is dead, at least where I live.

My uni hosts metal concerts once in a while. Whenever they do, a million un-washed, long haired autists arrive out the blue on campus. They have no social skills. It looks like their clothes haven't been washed in years. They are somehow more beta than me and that makes me sick.
