How will robots fare in an ACTUAL IQ test?

Before I waste my precious time on acing this test like all the others (MBTI, RAADS-R, etc.), would OP care about telling us why this test is BETTER than the others?
>>34274472
>timed
im fucked
if I see a timer I get stressed out and move slow as fuck
>>34274600
Wonderlic has around 0.9 reliability
This is a sample, but very similar
Search for it on the interneti nice stuff
>>34274810
Hum, I began the test but then they asked me questions which are clearly intended for americans. I have no idea how much money a nickel is compared to a $.
I'll try to find the test in my native language.
Bump for retards
to my defense, I'm not a native english speaker and the language and culture related questions confused the fuck out of me.
Also much of this test appears to be mental calculation, which is a skill that can be trained.
>>34274472
>"What question do you have for The Great Gazoo, traveller."
i know this is a "real" test because the NFL uses it for some reason
what is linked in the op is a test that is designed to "prepare" you for the real thing so it's a weird mix of different types of questions. this can't be how they actually administer the test in real life. it's nearly impossible to keep up with. even something as shitty as the GRE will group the math together, the "english" together, etc.
also:
a ton of the questions would have been impossible/nearly impossible if i were dyslexic
i assume i wasn't supposed to be doing the math in my head so i wrote it down, but the test didn't tell me anything about that (much less if you could use a calculator--i imagine you can't)
the arbitrary time limit seems like it mainly works to freak people out. there is a large array of data on this sort of thing; people do worse on stuff if they know they're being timed and they can see the timer
also, i thought my score was supposed to be a number, not a percentage
i think a lot of the validity of this test comes from the fact that it apparently correlates well with other tests designed to do pretty much the same thing. i'm not convinced that makes it a good/bad assessment of intelligence full stop
76% and I'm not a native speaker
>>34275606
btw, I only completed 39 questions
so 1 mistake in 39 questions, I took my time :3
this is a fake and gay test
everyone in here is a shill
>>34274472
This is not an IQ test, nor is it a proper "cognitive abilities test" as it portrays itself as. There is way too much of an advantage in this test if you do maths daily, which has nothing to do with underlying cognitive ability / IQ, for it to be a valid measurement instrument.
42/50 and i only got to question 45.
Not bad after a long day of work
>>34274810
reliability =//= validity.
This test does not accurately measure cognitive ability as seperated from ability to perform a heavily learned task such as the maths problems in the test. The validity might be decent if you only test people who are straight out of college where these skills should be fresh.
Its also clearly not valid for non-english speakers.
Raven's Matrices Test is a much better test for pure cognitive ability
13 / 50
Who slow thinker here? I always suck ass at timed shit. Honestly did pretty good.
>>34274600
>acing MBTI
ok, Ace
>>34276013
You wouldnt have done better either way
>>34276105
maybe not, but I might have remembered the faster way to average numbers, the number averaging problems took significantly more than the average amount of time allotted per problem. By the third averaging problem I just ballparked it, though in retrospect it would've been the easiest to calculate by the faster method.
>>34275997
I suffer from profound mathematical retardation and can confirm.
>>34275510
>>34274472
Because it doesn't, IQ barely transfers into real application, too many ego-jerk circling. You can easily become proficient in these tests with practice, they're all quick, mental calculation. Also, anyone with dyslexia would lose points just to having a condition. You neglect other important areas of mental capablity. Come on mate, go back to the Mensa convention, you'd probably fit in with the other sperg lords
>>34276193
yeah i feel this. I have a persistent hand tremor, and there was a portion of the IQ test I took when i was 14 where I had to write things by hand under a timer. My report gave me a 129 IQ but it looked like that one section dragged down that score pretty significantly, because I had a lot of 130s and a couple 155+ components.
i think the test is rather accurate. it seems to be all word knowledge, math, etc.
the problem is that stuff can be trained pretty easily.
they probably give it to players before and after their career in the nfl to see if there was a steep and noticeable decline in intellect and how fast te brain can comprehend. i think the fast aht the test is timed is insinutating it's looking for how fast someone can process information and to my undertsanding CTE or a shitload of concussions really mess wit htaht abiilty.
>>34274472
>first question
>math
No thanks I'm fine
>>34276193
That's because all these online "IQ" tests are retarded and mostly measure one very specific faculty of cognitive ability. Real IQ tests as used in courts and by psychiatrists are far more broad and are for the most part relatively valid.
You can score 140 consistently on these online tests and still have an overall general IQ below average.
58%, timed out and I'm drunk.
i got to question 12 and it timed out
fuggg
Taken on IceCat mobile
I got a 44/50 but I think some of those are input errors since I didn't know what format they wanted.
Ok guys, I'm gonna come out and say I'm a huge retard, and that's why I think this test is rigged. I got an above average score, and you guys don't seem to be doing to well, so I think it's giving us random scores to play with our egos cheers xx
>can't do math in my head
>test seems heavily reliant on this
My skills are better applied to writing essays and research, not mathematics.
Online IQ tests seem incredibly biased. On top of that I seriously need to question the validity of the entire concept of IQ shit in general because, as some have pointed out in thread, it literally seems like an excuse for people to circlejerk over how many points they have.
The irony of it is every person I meet claiming to be a genius on an IQ test is normally in a shittier place in life than me. Last person I met that had a genius level IQ was a stoner with daddy issues.
>>34276504
It's not surprising that people who feel the need to brag about iq have nothing else to brag about.
Research generally shows that IQ correlates with success.
reached number 41 and got all the 41 i answered correct.
>>34276080
Don't be bitter, man. Not anyone can score INTJ, that's life for (You).
>>34276563
Yeah, I will add that I have nothing against people with a high IQ, just that those that brag about it normally aren't the successful ones. I wouldn't be shocked if I've had classes with people that have an extremely high IQ and I just didn't know.
I feel rather silly getting this score compared to what others got
I also put the unit of measurement in the math writing problems, so that may have affect my score
>>34276659
>success
what is success anyway?
I scored 145 and 130 in two online tests I had completed online when I was a kid and look where I am
in a self-hating, girl (male) loving, virgin cesspool
the only thing that my intelligence has done for me was to make me even more aware of how low I have stooped
and I'm also doing a funded phd in an engineering discipline which will *probably* result in me getting a well paying job upon graduation

>>34276052
Correct, I score within the 125-138 range, around 95+ percentile, on other (actual, not internet) IQ tests and 21 on this, which is around 47th percentile.
The test score was gated behind how fast you could do middle school or lower math problems to get to more questions, and I haven't done math like that since high school 9 years ago. I've forgotten all of the skills that the test uses to assess my intelligence, because they are just that, learned skills correlated with intelligence.
Give me a set of block or pattern tests any day of the week over this, it's just not reliable for testing the IQ of a social dropout degenerate.
>>34274472
You're not supposed to use a calculator on this right?
I got 50%, the damn math really tripped me up. And I work with numbers every day
>all there people trying their hardest to prove the invalidity of the test
kek
/r9k/, you are officially the most delusional group on the internet
I guessed randomly on most of the math questions and I couldn't finish all 50 questions, so it's probably a bit lower than this...
>>34274472
I got to like 25 and answered 24 correctly.
I'm slow but I get results, it's also almost 1 AM and I barely got any sleep the night before so eh.

>>34274472
>tfw to smart too poo in the loo
24%
I hate it when I don't get a moment to think.
how smart or dumb am i
>>34276061
I am, I took an actual IQ test and got 124, but I got a processing speed score of 87. On this test I got 27 which is like an IQ of 110, supposedly.
>>34282046
Puts you at about 97th percentile I think, that's alright, about what I am really.
>>34281760
It correlates highly with actual IQ test
But it leaves more room for exceptions, people who never did math, or people who do math problems every day etc.
Also the tactic you choose to follow is important too, but if you are a first timer that shouldn't be a problem
Real IQ tests have these kind of loopholes too, but the amount is a little less
>>34283236
dude, this test is something you can study for
iq test should ideally be measuring your intrinsic intelligence
you shouldnt be able to study for an iq test
>>34274472
43/50. Ran out of time on question 44, I couldn't figure out how it worked at first and overthought a couple which burned time.
That's exactly the number I'd gotten on one I took years ago, though I completed that one.
>>34283726
Nope, you can study for all IQ tests
And for almost all IQ tests validity drops if you aren't taking it for the first time
For example the average IQ of switchboard operators was tested as 130
It is highly unlikely that their IQ's are actually in that range. The most probable answer is that their job probably improved their spatial cognition, which explains their surprising results
>chads in the NFL scored higher than me
They get to be athletic, rich and smart while I live in a hovel working minimum wage and getting spit on by everyone. I didn't need a reminder of this feel tonight.
>>34274472
I'm stupid and can't do any of the math questions in my head. The time limit stresses me out.
I'm scared to take the quiz, what if i'm a retard? my self esteem is low as it is
To be fair I only got to like question 26 before the time ran out.
I didn't know it was possible for such a high percentage of people to be so bad at mental math.
Exactly half bad, if I do say so myself.
>>34274810
No test on earth has 0.9 reliability mate. Also tests by definition are mediocre sources of information from patients. Hell, even IQ is debated right now as a trait despite being one of the most researched ones. Move away from this bullshit asap.

>>34285115
>psicometrists
You certainly don't even have 0.1 reliability
Please stop roleplaying and making a fool of yourself
Be honest, how many of you used a calculator?
While blitzed I got this.
Not ideal because i've spent too much time on easy questions. Overall, i think it's not a bad score for a person who has English for a second language.
>>34274472
First question: A turkey was cooked at 400 F in the oven for 3 hours....

Reminder that if you got a high score on this, it's probably not reliable, but if you got a low score, you are a brainlet
