I guess the problem is that I believed the memes I was told. I focused on superficial things and let what socials skills I had dwindle away.

Girls never liked me when I was much more well-adjusted, anyway. If girls weren't interested in an 18-year-old with no sexual experience, then they certainly wouldn't be interested in a 26-year-old with no sexual experience who is even more unsociable than he was when he was 18.

Day after day, my chances only ever worsened for me, and my capacity to continue trying diminished each day.

At least I have enough money to be comfortably drunk constantly. I've been boozing for the last two days now, and it's the best I've felt in weeks.

How are you gonna get a girlfriend if you don't meet girls in the first place? You don't really want to spend your life drinking alone, right? Of course you don't.

Why are you scared of traveling? You are 26 year old with no social experiences. At this point you might as well say "fuck it" and go try a bunch of different stuff, you have got nothing to lose. Instead, time is ticking fast and you should enjoy life as much as you can before it's too late.
Trust me, go travel in a bunch of different countries, it will make you happy. You can visit new places, have new experiences. You can even try improving your social skills, since you're gonna talk to people you'll never meet again.
What you should do is stop focusing on getting a girlfriend and live your life to the fullest. Try improve your appearence, get some new interesting hobbies.
If you have ugly teeth get them fixed asap so you can smile with no worries. I'm ugly as fuck but i have a nice smile and i always smile to girls. It will make you look like an happy and interesting person, someone people want to hang out with.
