>tfw prescribed lexapro
Do any of you robots take SSRIs? Care to share your experiences?
Lexapro is the number 1 medication people are on when they go crazy.
People who are taken to jail for acting crazy and doing psyco things are on lexapro.

Do you have a citation for that?
Yeah I take sertraline (Zoloft) Its killed my ability to cum which Im still not sure is a good or bad thing, I can masturbate for like 30 mins straight and not get a tingle of feeling like im close to orgasming, most times I just give up and then my anxiety and depression flare because I worry about being able to have kids/being able to please women,
Another issue is that I lose interest in sexual activities very often, one moment im ready to go the next Im thinking about anything BUT sex.
Though It does help with my depression and anxiety quite a bit when im not doing sexual activities.

All I know about SSRIs is that you shouldn't take them
Doctors are not your friend, doctors honestly do not give a fuck about your wellbeing especially when they can just give you a prescription to SSRIs and tell you to fuck off with your problems and then you go crazy from the "happy pills" he so negligently prescribed you.

Look it up. Google it.
Don't believe me if you don't want....what are you hoping to hear here? Those pills fixed everything? You won't.
The best you will get is I THINK they are helping.

>comatose penis
Literally the one side affect that has me apprehensive about taking it.
>>34259295
A lot of this just sounds like anti-Pharma propaganda, senpai.
>>34259331
>what are you hoping to hear here?
First hand experience of robots taking them, as I clearly wrote in the OP.
>>34259334
Okay, start taking them and see for yourself smart guy
>>34259200
The withdrawal effects are fucking hellish, but apart from that they're alright
>>34259354
Ok you wait for all the success stories.
You can post yours in 3 months.
>>34259334
The "may increase suicidal thoughts" written on their isn't one of them?
Heaven forbid your penis you don't have sex with doesn't work.
>>34259200
All that stuff ever did for me was kill my sex drive and not in a beneficial way. It made it really hard for my penis to cooperate with the way I felt. I wanted a whack but no porn was interesting and it took forever to finish. My friend went through the same thing then got admitted for suicidal concerns.
Best solution for me was to accept the normie meme and man up. To take my life into my own hands, exercise, hobbies, meditation, a girlfriend and a real job. That stuff can help.
>>34259278
yeah sertraline really killed my libido, it's like ten times harder for me to masturbate since i've been on it
felt really sick and shitty on it for the first week but it really dumbs down the anxiety and makes it manageable
>>34259200
I take a research chemical called IDRA-21. Does that count?
>>34259200
These drugs are not NEET friendly.
They work best for wagies. I took Cymbalta in both situations. They do nothing when you're alone but help when dealing with terrible customers. The lack of emotion is so helpful when telling people to fuck off.

>Cymbalta
I'd rather an hero than spend my life shutting my brain away
If it really is a brain chemistry problem it might help you, but if you're depressed because you've had a shitty life it's not going to help you.
>>34260410
I'd rather emotionally kill myself (be a NEET) then emotionally kill myself (take SSRIs).
nice choice spaz
>>34260636
A brain chemstry problem? I've heard about that. What causes a chemical imbalence?
>>34260724
>chemical imbalence
it's a normie buzzphrase. The body always balances.
The correct phrase is that depressed people have a lower homeostasis for interaction. SSRI's remove inhibition and forces rebalancing.
>>34259200
Doctor put me on Lexapro and it made me Trans
>>34259200
Honestly m8 you'd be better off eating some magic mushrooms and having a trip. They do wonders for depression if you do them infrequently.
>>34260724
something something serotonin receptors.
Science doesn't fully understand what makes SSRIs work.
But they make you feel dead inside so that's cool I guess if you're into that. And not the meme "i'm dead inside xDD" shit.
Actual apathy.
>>34260815
Buzzphraze? But that exact phrase is whats in the lexapro commercial.
And im still waiting for some success stories.
>>34259200
I'm on lexamil, which I'm assuming is my country's equivalent of lexapro. It helps somewhat, but mostly in conjunction with the bipolar meds (epitec) I take. Hasn't killed my emotion, and hasn't affected my sex drive in any way.
>>34259200
Yes but I'm a drug addict so it doesn't work because of amphetamine comedowns
