That said, if you want to live in a city and get something more than 30 m2 you're gonna pay a shitload of money. Oh, and good luck with that mortgage, you're mostly stuck with renting it. But homes to rent are so high in demand that it's really hard getting anything decent. Social housing used to be something, but i'm stuck on the waiting list for 6 years already with no end in sight.

I live in an area where a small starter home in a bad neighborhood costs $300,000. Unless you live in the middle of no jobs states, houses arent that cheap.
