It's hard to tell, really.

My dad on one hand is a well-paid doctor who actually lives near the rest of our extended family. He's pretty successful in life.

My uncle (Dad's older brother) on the other hand, is the GM of a large food conglomerate division in South America, so I'm pretty sure he makes significantly more money than my dad. But he lives far away from our family, so it's hard for him to actually interact with us in the first place.

I'm not sure if I'll ever be my family's patriarch. I doubt it as I have little drive for personal goals and I doubt I'll have any in the future.
