Simon is a shitty meme that was meant to be up there with Pepe, Wojak, etc. But it didn't being anything new so the creator was just forcing it.

i'm glad it's over though
the people (or just one dude?) forcing it really should have tried to nail down a specific type of related textposting to go along with the image. you need some kind of a meaning behind the image, at least initially (both pepe/wojak for instance had identifiable "meanings" when people first started using them--they lost that over time, but they wouldn't have endured without them to begin with)
