I just had my first honest day of work robots
Tell me it gets better later

It does. The first week is always shit.
Takes about 2-3 months in my experience to fully adjust to a new workplace. To the extent that you can basically do everything by yourself and don't ever need to call a coworker or manager for help.
What kind of job did you get OP?

I've been a NEET for so long man, but i'm trying to change. This job is a great opportunity, but FUCK am i tired after that first day.

Call center operator.

I'm tired every day of my from work (more mental fatigue than physical). I combat it with large doses of coffee in the a.m., and then come home and take a nap after work.
The first year was terrible for me. But I had to go from sleeping 16 hours a day to working a real physical job. It'll probably be much easier for you.

Ooh, I've heard those jobs are rough. Try not to take it personally when people are shitty. I know it's hard but don't let it get to you. That's part of being a professional.
On the upside it's a desk job and you get to sit down all day. Most customer service jobs don't even have seating available for employees and require you to stand all day which is killer on the feet.

That is true, i literally can sit in my chair with hands behind my neck and legs stretched and still work.
I probably shouldn't complain, it's just the first day shock.

This is how jobs always go for me, so yes it will get better...
>first day is always overwhelming, socially awkward too
>training and all sets in and I get proficient pretty easily (because it's a minimum wage job and as such..)
>Usually bond with coworkers bretty quickly
>plateau period for a few months where everything is cool. I'm still considered 'new' so my mistakes aren't as dire and there's still "wow anon you're so smart for printing to the printer in the back office xD"
>4-5 months in: Change in management, 5 jobs in a fucking row. Starts fucking everything up.
>Drama between management and employees, all that shit
>Job becomes a fucking chore and I hate it
>I quit
and it's worse. just like life OP ;^)end yourself, it's not worth it
