I was going to recommend drinking. Don't get drunk though.

Beta blockers. Valium etc.

(You should already have these if you're so anxious about being around other people you're considering drinking for the barbers)

Dont drink. You will get drunk make a fool out of yourself and feel bad for months.

Just go there with a prepared line and know what to say to get the haircut that you want,

Then just sit there silently maybe even with closed eyes like i do.

For me the redbull immediately wipes out any of the physical relaxation benefits of a benzo, which in turn causes me to get worried and wipes out the mental relaxation benefits as well. Those two just dont mix well.

is alcohol not enough?
back when I was a kid I would take 2~ benadryl pills to ward off anxiety
although it's awful to do with habit and it's something I figured out by chance so I dont know if it works for others
