is this the first medication he put you through? i hear the common thing is to start with other antidepressants like zoloft or prozac. i myself am in zoloft

ive been in several antidepressants lamentably
i spent like 5 months on prozac, then a year and a half on effexor, six months on cymbalta, back to prozac for a year and ive been on zoloft for a week now. i guess i have treatment resistant depression

How does it feel when the antidepressants kick in?

for me it took about 2 weeks for them to kick in. i had more energy (started exercising, going for walks and drawing/painting), didnt feel as sleepy in the mornings, suicidal thoughts decreased (particularly on cymbalta) as for side effects i couldnt cum and i had brain zaps and felt nauseous, and didnt have as much apetite
