I'm getting really afraid of memes and stupidity in general.
Because the vast majority of the social medias userbase loves memes above all else, and because of how the internet spread throughout the last decade, from being a tool for social outcasts to dwell to the nowadays must have communication #1 device, you can't pretend to be a normal functioning well adjusted human being if you're not heavily connected to these trends.
Memes have never been stronger, embodying such powerful messages and spreading them this fast, it's no wonder they're now tremendously used to propagate political views or capitalistic needs and force them onto us, to make us think and buy things, namely voting Trump or buying iWatch for example, or normalizing transsexualism to the point it's now socially accepted to go through gender reassignment using chemicals fucking up your body and mind.
Those tools of propaganda would have looked like nightmarish ideas coming from frightening dystopian literature a decade or two ago, but it's now very real.
Memes have the ability to gather the most powerful demographic to do literally anything, and they're fomented by well organized people who push their agendas with seemingly no counterplay, people never been in use of less critical thinking, we're all slave of instagram and Twitter, making us depressed by beautiful people living dreamlike lives that we'll never have, resorting to porn and fictions to further destroy our ideals and perceptions of others and the opposite sex.
I'm just so very scared by memes. It was all lols and banter until it impacted our society and way of thinking to the point the REAL WORLD now looks like real life Idiocracy.
The level of brainwashing that is going to occur over the next century is truly terrifying.
People on 4chan are worried the white race is going to be destroyed through brainwashing. But that is only the beginning of what can now be done to the masses through the use of technology, and our interconnectedness with it.
Kaczynzski is that you?
Memes didn't Idiocracy. Normies mating did.
The worst times of history are ahead.
Memes are essentially creating new (and false) realities i.e. not physical ones but perceived ones.
Just take r9k it makes me think that transsexuals are much more common as they most likely are.
A recent military intelligence report talked about how the internet acts like fast information exchange similar to the printing press.
Ideas, ideology, even religion, and so on, can nowadays spread much faster. And you can have people with similar ideas without them ever being in physical contact with like-minded people.
Very interesting times to say the last.
