Yeah, that's OCD. I used to go through the same shit. At some point you must just realize that a certain degree of contamination is inevitable and acceptable. It might also be triggered by environment. When I moved out all those feelings just vanished.

i guess family is part of it, my parents never really gave a shit about hygiene and my brother is disgusting, never showers, keyboard caked with gunk, piles and stacks of cups and plates with hair in/on them, etc. so i'm really afraid of becoming like him, to the point where i want to be the exact opposite or something
