There's something cool about wandering a hotel lobby at 2 am, and going out for the mcdonalds right next to the hotel and have breakfast at 4am. It's pretty nice to be by yourself and I plan to do it again for my birthday and drink by myself and eat some doritos. Bed was super comfy too, I wasn't expecting much from a hotel but it was surprising how soft everything was. Keep in mind the included shampoo and conditioner for cheap hotels are absolute dog shit so I wouldn't even bother, skin and hair was left as dry as straw. If you have the money, I'd say do it at least once to see what it's like.

Yeah I really regret not taking anything with me. I only had the clothes on my back and my phone, not much to really do. TV didn't have much choices in the channels either, so it got a bit slight boring after a while but luckily I was tired and the bed was soft so I fell asleep right away. Definitely take a laptop/favorite drinks or food, or something with you, I'm personally gonna bring my DS or Vita with me next time to play vidya as well as some snacks and alcohol. Tfw this is the only thing in my life I have to look forward to.

I've moved out now so I can do this every day anyway, but back when I still lived at home we went halfway across the country to go visit relatives and we had to stay in a Premier Inn.

Since my mum has a partner and my brother has a gf, they got their own rooms together, but because I'm a permaloner I got an entire room to myself, a double as well since there were no single rooms or anything like that. Got really drunk, covered myself in hand wash, and watched Babestation on TV while fucking a pillow I'd poked a hole into. Woke up at 6am naked on the floor with my sore dick still in the pillow and Babestation still on full blast.

Best night ever. Even though I've moved out, I've never had as much fun as I did then.
