Who cares of fights. I have never fought in my life. And that's not because I ran away but because I have always been smart enough not to get into situations in which I would have to fight.

Fights are not a wise decision. Never.
The risks of death are pretty high.
The risks of permanent maim are also high, or scars.
It is also illegal, and self-defense is often hard to prove.
If you lose the fight you can be seen as a loser.
Keeping calm and replying politely to an agressive dude is way more classy than just punching him.

Guys who fight often have a problem with their manhood. They have to prove something.
