Has anyone here known or been through a phase of intense discipline. For example scheduling your entire day and actually following through with it for months. Like regularly exercising, studying, working, eating healthy. Not fapping or doing anything counter productive such as gaming , porn etc.

One summer camp I went to had a pretty strict schedule. I used to be on a schedule of my own without realizing it. It's easy once you build the habit but extremely difficult to break out of old ones. Good luck OP, and the less you think about it, the better
>>
>>34155333
Yeah

You stop thinking about how to do it and just go and do it. It's literally that simple

Stop thinking. Make a schedule and just follow it. Become a slave to your plan

I make 6 figures and fuck hot women now
>>
Before I use to just use the internet all day and jerk off. Now, 4 times week I go to the gym than afterwards I use the internet all day and jerk off.
>>
Wow thanks for the motivation guys!
>>

Don't trust motivation, just do things.
>>

How do I get over feelings of intense anger and frustration while walking the distance towards my goals?
>>
>>34156073
Don't ever dwell on the long term or their consequences. Just think immediate action and how you know it will benefit you. Stay determined, not motivated, and remember that patience is key when it comes to difficult tasks
>>
Thankyou.Very good advice.
>>
>>34156073
You live and you experience anger and frustration, anon, because you know it will end soon

Re-sculpt your mind to live a little bit further in the future and a little bit less in the present. Not so much that you waste your life working on goals, but enough, in a balanced way, so the majority of your life is spent enjoying things you've earned in the past, things worthy of earning.

It's called practicing delayed gratification and it's one of the most important aspects of maturity, along with the ability to know when to stop delaying and savor individual moments.
>>
>>34156138
No, I completely disagree, as you can see in post: >>34156512

You live in the present with maximum motivation and success by keeping your mind on the far future goal.

But have many goals, each of them abstract but concrete
>>
>>34156533
Abstract is the key word there. If you're always keeping your mind on the future it's going to get a lot more detailed and complicated. However, if you just think "I'll exercise so I can get stronger right now" or "I'll study so I can be smarter" or even things like "I won't buy that so I have money for more important things". I mean, you need to think smart, but still short term if you don't want to feel like you have a lot more time to achieve your goals than you actually do.
>>
>>34156661
At some time you have to start implementing the goals though, and you need concrete plans

At some point it needs to be "I'm going to spend 4 years and get a bachelor's degree in this topic" because if you're not thinking at least 4 years in the future then you won't do it as fast and you're wasting time.

You may say "You can take it one year at a time anon, even one semester at a time" but if you do that you will take forever to get the bachelor's degree and start benefiting from it, then start using those benefits (money, relationships, whatever) to your benefit in life

Accomplishments acquire interest gains over time so to speak, that's why it's important to rush and race and sprint asap and keep sprinting forever

H-hey /fit/
>>
>>34155333
I don't know if this count.
but when my classes start, I get off all social media 4chan included.
>>
I was like that for about 5 years between 17 and 22.

I have no fucking clue how I managed to be like that.
>>
>>34156721
But the process of getting a bachelor's could've been "I'm going to get a college education because that will overall improve my quality of life" and then doing all the steps that entail that through many in the moment choices using your knowledge. And sticking to it because you're determined. If you're going to try and complete your tasks on "I'll get a degree" instead of "I'll study this because it's what the class is focusing on" you're going to feel much more lost.
