Why is it so hard for me to focus while reading books? When

not hard. or read before bed :) or in the morning with tea/cofeee :)

try putting some ambient music on in the background, whenever i read i do that and it helps me focus

also try reading something you enjoy first
or find why you want to read / what you like in the material. just enjoy it and focus on the story. absorb every element because even through the words of the writer, you won't get every bit. put yourself inside.

Read a book that you actually find interesting,maybe that will help you be engaged and not distracted.

Try to read faster. it actually helps you focus ironically. Try meditating and get off 4chan for bonus points
