I'm asexual and I don't like to be touched. In middle school, there was a group of three "popular" girls who thought it was hilarious to grab me by the crotch when I wasn't expecting it so they could see me jerk away in shock and disgust. This went on for months.

One day in metal shop, I came in to find the project I'd been working on for weeks had been cut into small pieces with a pair of tin snips. When I told the teacher, he was annoyed at *me* for being such a loser. I went back to my table and laid the pieces of my project in front of me with no idea what I was going to do. The entire class was snickering. They had watched the girls destroying it.

Then the three girls came over to taunt me, and one of them grabbed me by the crotch. I remember feeling very calm and clear. And then I had a psychotic break.

Apparently I picked up a metal drafting T-bar and very calmly tried to smash in the girls' heads with it. When they ran away, I apparently turned on the rest of the class and tried to kill them too. The metal shop teacher -- a big, burly man -- ran to the office and had them call my parents. He told them I was trying to kill everyone and they told him to STOP me. Apparently he refused to go back in the classroom and told them that I "looked like a demon."

At some point I just stopped, calmly put the T-bar away, and then went and sat in the guidance counsellor's office. That's where they found me, sitting catatonic in a chair. They couldn't even get me to look around until they held a phone to my ear and my father told me to "stop being so stupid."
