How would a two inch man be able to produce an audible knock on my door? Anyway, I'd let him in and let him use my phone, or I guess dial for him, so he can contact family members or scientific institutions or whatever it is he's going to do. Come to think of it, maybe I'd make him wait while I got a burner phone, just in case the government decides they want to scrub this incident from public knowledge.

why take the risk? You could just as well step or sit on him and snuff him out of existence while barely noticing it, or at the very least keep him as a pet/slave him you have moral qualms with the prior options.

Why would I have moral qualms with the former but not the latter? And the obvious reason is that he's a human being and I'm capable of empathy so treating people in this fashion doesn't sit well with me. For that matter, why would I even want such a pet?
