I have the same, although it sometimes "clicks" and you stay buddies. Being in a group or "clan" will help with that.

I thought I had clicked with some girl I was talking to at the ge one time but the next time i messaged her she was only replying with lol. AKA the kiss of death.

I'll try talking in my clan but I feel like every time I engage in a group conversation I end up making everyone uncomfortable or something.
Maybe I see myself in too negative a light but I swear I'm unintentionally a massive buzzkill.

Before I was talking to some people at divination and some guy asked how many points I got in the cache, i answered then asked him how many he got then i just got stonewalled. Shit like that is pretty annoying, I didn't even start the convo and I still don't get a reply? The fuck.

Used to have convos 24/7 back in 06-07, I miss that rs community.
Made the grind more bearable.
