"Slow" is a good word to describe me. Psychologically speaking, it probably stems from my "ADD" (which I'm not sure I believe in but hey, thanks for the amphetamines doc) and also my anxiety. It takes me a long time to focus, and when I do, it takes me even longer to reach a goal since my anxiety makes me second-guess myself and my mind goes through EVERY possibility. If I'm expected to produce something for other people, my social anxiety makes me consider how they'll judge what I put out.

Plus, of course, I'm dumb.

But I'm nice and understanding to other people and try to be optimistic about myself. I like when anime has "slow" characters. There's a sense of old-fashioned authentic kindness and thoughtfulness in a modern cutthroat world.

We might get a little left behind, but there's nothing wrong with being slow. We learn to be happy where we are.
