I really hated the ending to Samurai Champloo, they all just go their separate ways and we don't really find out where they went, or what became of them. Also they just casually and nonchalantly say bye, like I guess it was understood between them that a formal goodbye wasn't necessary but still seemed strange how they ended the series.

Love Watanabe stuff. As for F/Z I thought it had fancy visuals and all, but maybe too much classic battle anime, which was fine back in the days but a modern take of it without any particularly intricate story doesn't cut it for me. I hear one can find more depth in it if one dwelves into the VN, but that's a lot of time to spend. Seems I rated it 6/10 when I saw it.
