Robots, I can't sleep before 5am and I want to sleep earlier, like 10pm. I've tried to stay awake for 24hrs, then i'd get sleepy and sleep early, but it didn't work. Any tips to help this robot sleep?
Don't stay up 24 hours to fix your sleep schedule. Instead just start going to bed immediately when you feel any hint of tiredness before 5 AM. You'll gradually drag back to a normal sleep time.

Heres what I did to fix me sleep schedule.
Alcohol and sleep aid.
I would consume enough alcohol to get buzzed and take sleep aid and I usually passed out within an hour. I also exercised every morning by going on a treadmill for an hour.

Melatonin.
Dose 0.5mg one hour (if you have a normal metabolism, half an hour if you have a fast metabolism, two hours if you have a slow metabolism) before you want to sleep.
Right at the time you want to sleep, take 1mg sublingually; do this every 30 minutes until slept.

Something that works for me is deliberately waking up very early so that I feel super sleepy by 23 or so, regardless of the time that I actually slept that night.
Ofc this means wasting an entire day feeling like shit, but man it's worth it.

I wish I could do this. I live in a hell where my sleep schedule constantly shifts forward by half an hour to two hours a day.
Going to bed earlier than that results in me just rolling around aimlessly, unable to just turn off.
Trying to push my sleep schedule forward to get to a reasonable time ends up with me falling asleep and totally fucking up my sleep schedule, or with me just pushing my sleep forward by an hour or two.
I hate this.

This is me af, got major exams in a few weeks but missed the whole first week back at school because of fucked sleeping pattern. Been like this as long as I can remember, I can literally turn of everything, lie in bed and even try counting sheep and shit, and I'll still be awake 4 hours later.
