Dear lord son, you gotta calm the fuck down.

I mean I'm quiet as shit and I just sort of stare at people because I like observing them. Usually it's when they're talking. I like to think about how I'd film that conversation, how would I light it, stupid shit like that.

Only ever got called out on it once (guy I didn't really know but he was friends with my friends asked "Nigga wtf you starin' at?" while he was talking with them)

>never thought of myself as autistic
>but always had bad social anxiety
>like, really bad
>recently got better at general conversation (or at least appearing so) but still uncomfortable/anxious a lot of the time
>recently learned about "stimming" from tumblr
>huh
>look up videos
>shit
>oh shit
>I do this shit all the time (rocking back and forth, randomly shaking my hands, twisting random objects around, etc.)

Well shit guys, am I autistic?

My brother has the spergs and was diagnosed pretty early on.

Social anxiety for people with Aspergers is usually a product of not being able to understand most social functions and gestures. It's a little more than awkwardness as the person genuinely doesn't understand how to effectively communicate. Most people subconsciously understand body language, and non verbal ques but people with aspergers do not. It is something that can be learned and worked on though.

What's your special interest, and how much time do you think you spend in a day working on learning or practicing this interest?
