I'm slowly deleting everything off my hard drive.
I've only got about 200 gb of stuff, probably not much compared to you guys.
It's unhealthy to get attached to all this. It's like I'm trying to fill a hole in myself that exists only because i have no achievements or anything happening to me in real life.
Anyways I think this is an important step in the rehabilitation process and i encourage you to do the same.
One day I'll downgrade to a laptop as well like a normal person.

>slowly
Just format the drive.
Or are you too attached anon?
COME ON. FORMAT IT. DO IT FAGGOT.
>>34086891
Thanks for that gif anon I didn't have that one.
It's getting tagged and cataloged as all my images are.
One day I will pass this collection of images down to the man who kills me. It's in my will you know.
>>34086891
Why? You're just going to put more shit back onto it. It is a HDD, after all.
>>34086891
you'll regret it
Don't do it sor stop doing it!
>907GB here

It has to be this way. I'm starting with my music.
I can't keep listening to the same 100 songs over and over again. Like I said, this is not a healthy way to live.
I have grown far too attached to certain anime OPs and EDs.
It's been 2 years and I'm STILL listening to Puzzle.
I think you should just sort stuff, get rid of things you aren't interested anymore, and then archive things.
I have several folders stuffed with pics, texts, gifs and htmls, labeled as "2015", "2014", and so on.

If it fills the void?
Do you htink youre going to be happier if you deleted all your stuff?
I'm listening to 1k-2k songs + videos form a girl on a loop Its great!
I know it's not a healthy way to live. But what else would you do
>>34087032
>2 years
Hahahaha you think that's severe? HAHAHAH YOU KNOW NOTHING. IT'S BEEN 20 YEARS AND I'M STILL LISTENING TO THE SAME SHIT AND WATCHING THE SAME SHOWS HAHAHAHAH GET OUT NORMIE FUCK
>>34087084
>what else would you do
anything but this
i dont want to end up like this guy >>34087086
the void needs to be filled with something real or the suffering wont end
when I've tried and failed, i'll just start again from scratch.
>>34087136
YOU WILL END UP LIKE ME.
YOU WILL ALL END UP LIKE ME.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT A MID LIFE CRISIS LOOKS LIKE FOR PEOPLE LIKE US? WE DON'T BUY A MOTORCYCLE, WE DON'T BUY A CAR, WE BUY A FUCKING CRT TELEVISION
this is your fate.
>have pictures, music, videos and personal documents from the moment I got my first computer
>one day notice a file having a different hash upon copying
>realize my RAM is bad on one of the computers
>i've transferred all my stuff to it and then back to other computers
>no idea what else might have been corrupted
This is the worst feeling. Part of me wants to start from scratch, but obviously that's impossible because I have no backups which aren't compromised.
>>34087353
Hm... there should be some way to scan your files for this type of writing errors.
>>34086891
How is it that I can easily maintain all my storage yet still remain productive? Sounds to me you're just looking for some excuse as to why your life is bad.
>>34086891
I did that one time.
I purged all my porn.
Then 2 weeks later I saw this really hot image online and saved it. Then I saw a few more and saved them.
Now my collection is 3 times bigger than my old one was.

I never said digital archiving was the reason my life was shit. Seems like you're either projecting, triggered or just an idiot.
Obviously there are plenty of well-adjusted people who hoard shit on their computers. I am not one of them.
You know what is funny?
The digital things surrounding us are as real as we are. You can't get rid of them easily, and the process is similar to one of throwing your "real" posessions away.

See you soon anon
