It's not worth supporting him. I lived with a roommate for a little over a year. She had a boyfriend just like yours, can't do ANYTHING himself, cannot work, is a pothead, and treated her awfully. I let him live with us as long as she paid 2/3 of the rent for both of them. It honestly pained me to see her in that position because she was really a great girl and could do infinitely better. I think she stayed with him because she didn't know better and thought things would one day be different. Of course he never changed, and even went as far as cheating on her. I kept up with her through the years since we considered each other good friends, and she eventually had no choice but to leave him. It just baffled me how long it took her to get out of that shit, she's a very smart girl and dropped out of college to be with him. They started almost exactly like you are, online relationship. For your sake I hope you find something better so you can actually do well for yourself instead of raising a literal man child.
