That is simply not true. In open weight tournaments manlets fare very well. Because again, upper body throws work better when you've got a lower centre of gravity. Strength is a big factor in disrupting balance, but throwing based on pure strength rather than effective leverage is absolute trash and is never used by anyone above the first couple of belts. A mediocre big man would be ragged around without doubt. The exception is extremely fat but not particularly tall men who in my experience are immovable and smug as fuck about it thinking it makes them some kind of master.

Also lanklet throws - which is to say leg throws - are trash. If the Olympics hadn't nerfed the sport by removing shoot techniques lanklets would be even more btfo than they already are.
