>tfw you ramble a bit on interview questions
>interviewer looks and acts annoyed from then on and grills the shit out of me
>doesn't even say when you'll hear back from them
>job is literally just cold door to door sales
Jesus christ lady, give me a break
>interviewer tells me I have a severe lack in interpersonal skills
Yea no shit
>>34070828
>tells me
that's just full on rude
At that point might as well throw all the cards on the table and break down telling them why you're that way, how your life is fucked up and beg for the job.
Make them feel guilty

I got kinda angry and told him I didn't want to work at a place that treats their (potential) employees like this.
He said something along the the lines of 'have fun being unemployed'.
This was like 2 years ago, it was really humiliating tbqh.

oooooooo, ouch man. You basically tripped yourself and then fell on every dagger in your own arsenal. The hiring manager must have been smugged as fuck as you walked away. Gotta show them that you're a real person with feelings man.

No crying, but I once did tell an interviewer I had autism and that it's really hard for me to use social skills. She told me social skills are a basic part of succeeding in life, to which responded, "Oh, so you think my life is worth less because I have autism?" She just said, "Okay I think we're done here."
(Also, I should mention it was for a fucking filing job that required little to no human contact.)
I often wonder if I could have made money if I sued, but I'm too stupid to know how to sue someone.

Yea I probably shouldn't have said that, but I was kinda angry and I blurted it out lel.
>>34071331
>Oh, so you think my life is worth less because I have autism?
How did you get that from what she said? She was probably 1 more plea away from taking pity on you
but then you made her the enemy...

>telling an employer you have a disability
fastest way to get them to avoid you. They hear that and they think "Guy who is worthless but whom we won't be able to fire because of ADA discrimination lawsuits"
>>34071454
Actually if you receive food stamps or have a disability employers are more likely to hire you
tax credits
>>34071539
That's true for some pointless jobs like greeters at wal-mart, where the purpose of employing the person in the first place is to harvest a tax credit or fulfill some government quota.
it's not true for jobs where they expect you to do anything.
>>34071597
>where they expect you to do anything.
That's all jobs though. Unless you're making 30K or more a year, they really won't care as long as you do what you're told.
>>34071331
That whole situation was your fault entirely.
First by making her uncomfortable by mentioning something for no real reason besides symphaty points.
>social skills are a basic part of succeeding in life
She's right.
Then you proceed to attack her on a point she didn't make.
>>34070745
I read this all in Burr's voice.
>quit a job, told my boss that i'm quitting
>ok go see the owner
>told him that i'm quitting
>work there for whatever months
>apple for another job they told me they asked the first job about me, they told him like i looked at porn there and they fired me
>>34072936
>they told him like i looked at porn there and they fired me
Well, did you? Why would they make that up?
