>50,000 in debt for shut degree
>no friends, gf
Spend the rest of my life living alone working a shit job or just end it? It's like paying a bill to be a robot. I'm so tired, fuck this
What's your degree in?
Always original
>tfw you didn't fall for the uni meme
feels good
>It's like paying a bill to be a robot. I'm so tired, fuck this
I feel you. It sucks. Makes no sense to live just to work.
Honestly, not being in debt wouldn't change that though. It's the same shit. The only difference it makes is that you will have to retire 5 years later.

The debt would be nothing if I was a normal person with prospects and a vibrant social life. But I'm not.
Like I'm just picking things up and putting them down in a void. I'm doing it just keep being able to do it. Fuck this.
Can someone please explain this American college education debt thing to a non-American. Here in my country a average tuition fee for 4 years Bachelors is 8000 to 12000 USD total.
>>34066994
Are you discounting the $7000 a year in accommodation costs? Tuition is not everything.
>>34067051
By tuition I mean only fees. Not accommodation or any other costs. I've done Masters in Software Engineering (2 years) and, annual fee was 2000 USD

Can you go back to community college? Try working towards another degree in a more lucrative field like business or IT. I am doing finance, its 2 year at cc then 2 year at state uni. I get paid 65k afterwards.
>>34067088
Yes, but that the Americans are $60,000 in debt because they have to pay for accommodation as well. And so do many Europeans, except the government chips in in our case.
>>34067209
Is accomodation necessary? Can't you just go to College from home then come back
>>34067260
No. That's not even possible in all of Europe. You're lucky if you can do that. I cannot.
My commute would be 2hs each way which is really exhausting and still fucking expensive.
>>34067090
There is absolutely no incentive for me to do anything if it's just to maintain a life of loneliness.
>>34067340
Damn. How good are job prospects? I mean after struggling all through this shit. You should be able to get a decent paying job. I didn't even do shit in College. I graduated with a shitty 2.3 CGPA. Now, I got a decent paying job so, I can buy weeaboo stuff.

Median wage is Euro 55k and I'm in STEM so at the very least Euro 65k, hopefully. Every alumni who graduated from my small program has some kind of job.
>>34066607
what the actual fuck? feels like I live in socialist country
>no tuition fee
>free public transport
>50% government grants on 2 meals a day
60 euro/month accommodation in rather comfy room with one fellow unifag
>>34067498
I believe in many countries governments do give accommodation stipends to university students.
In other countries you get a deferred loan which you only pay if you make above a certain amount of money.
Say what you want about France lads, but I'm studying engineering for less than 1k a year. Feels good man.
And in 3 years I'm making at least 40k a year, start rate.
>>34067542
they do here as well. well not really accommodation but in case you are from family with low income or a lot of kids you can get up to 200 euro each month. same if you are orphan.
and as bonus you get stipend for good grades and some extra if your field of study is useful. so basically you go for stem and if you are good at it you get all the money back during your study.

Just declare bankruptcy then leave the country to work somewhere else. If you play by the rules of the system, it screws you. Can't help with no friends, no gf, but this matter I can help you in directly.
>>34067677
The student loans are immune from claims of bankruptcy.
Why? Capitalism, I guess.
>>34067772
Are you from the UK by any chance?
>>34066607
Double down anon.
Go back to school, and get a useful degree.
>tfw almost everything you used to value and reference as reasons to remain living have been undermined by your essential distaste for life
>>34067340
I was paying 10k cad a year for accomidation. While a 2 hour commute is only 3k a year. Worth it.
I study during the commute anyway.
