is anybody here fit without going to a gym?
I got a set of weights and got an old lifting bench, but looked on /fit/ and all they say needs gym equipment, like for chin ups and inclined sit ups. I cant do those!!!
I dont want to go to a gym because its far from my house plus I hate going outside.

I would say I'm decently fit. I own a barbell, set of adjustable dumbbells plates and a bench with adjustable rack so I can use it as a squat rack too. I can do all my important compound lifts and there's a million ways to do isolations without machines. You can do it anon, get huge.
Don't need gym equipment. I also workout from home, got my own weights and bench.
Just build a plan around the equipment you have.

>chin ups
Buy one of those doorframe bars
>inclined sit ups
Use a bed for that, or just do hanging leg raises since you now own a doorframe bar

Anon. A chin up bar costs $20~ and you mount it on a door frame.
Regardless you can make a decent looking upper body with weights and a bench. Look up scooby's videos on youtube.
Wtf do you all need gym equipment for?! There are so many exercises with your own body weight that are effective as fuck and fun to do. Burpees and things like that.

How much would this cost?

Depends where you live I guess, but you could easily get all that (probably with just a few plates to start) for <$1000
There's tons of guides online for body weight exercises gym machines are a fucking meme anyways.

Thiswould be a miracle.
thank you anons. now i need to search online and find a routine. but why do some routines have low reps and sets, and others high? I take it that the weight is just the maximum you can do without hurting yourself. so why some have more sets/reps than others.
