>tfw you realize that friendship and love, or at least, what you thought were friendship and love don't exist, and even if you do get them, they'll never compare to the image that Hollywood sells to you
Fuck you for ruining my life, Hollywood, thanks for setting impossible standards that reality can never live up to
>things never exist but even if you are lucky enough to get said things that never exist
ok
for people who like to make friends and form interpersonal relationships, it actually is like the movies. happens a lot of people of lower classes because they are forced to form these interpersonal relationships and work together with other people by circumstances. so many people in the first world meet circumstances that exempt them from this need (or they opt out) and they fail to create these interpersonal networks that innately have various dramas, "stories, "etc" because of the combined lives of so many people
this post was very poorly written in my haste but you are probably smart enough to get the point
they do though. must you see to believe?
In my experience a good friendship is better than any of that Hollywood bullshit

I've tried hanging out with "friends" before, and it's always been a disappointment.
Not an unpleasant experience, I had fun, and it was better than sitting at home alone, but it just never lived up to my expectations, so I gave up on it.
